Four jawans belong to Punjab and one to Odisha state
Sardulgarh -April 21 (Zaildar TV) It is a very sad news that 5 jawans were martyred during a terrorist attack in the Poonch area of Jammu and Kashmir yesterday. The attack was carried out when the visibility was low due to heavy rains. And the army truck was going between Bhimbar Gali and Poonch in Rajouri sector.
The attackers ambushed and threw grenades on the truck and opened fire. As a result of which the vehicle caught fire and 5 soldiers were martyred. Army Chief General Manoj Pandey has shared all the information about the incident with Home Minister Rajnath Singh. The search operation is going on due to the siege of the area by Army with other security forces.
Among those martyred, four jawans belong to Punjab and one belongs to Odisha state. They have been identified as Havildar Mandeep Singh of village Chankoian (Ludhiana), Las Naik Kulwant Singh of village Charik (Moga), Sepoy Harkrisan Singh of village Talwandi Bharath (Gurdaspur), Sepoy Sevak Singh village of Bagha (Bathinda), Las Naik Debashish Baswal (Odisha) has taken place. This heinous incident is being condemned in strong terms in every corner of the country.
